Sports Lodge player cards!

Parents,

Please remember to send the Sports Lodge cards with your players for all of our games. 

Since our first game is at 8:00 am on Saturday, I don't know how early the Sports Lodge office will be open in order to get cards for those that do not have them.  Therefore, it may be a good idea to get them on a weeknight preceding the game.  There is not a charge if the player has never been issued a card.  If they have, and no longer have it, the cost is $5.

Indoor Season starts Saturday November 8th!

So rather than have practice at Diamond Ridge tonight from 6:15 to 7:45 we have Coerver Training at Calvin Smith Elementary (2150 W 6200 S, Taylorsville) from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm.  This is training you are already paying for through your registration and increases individual skills.  I encourage you all to make it.  See you there!  There's three more sessions left, but there's a game conflict with one of them.

Keep in mind that Jeri is working on rescheduling the first game to 6 pm that same day so don't worry.  If that doesn't work we will reschedule for a different day, just not that time during the weekday.

Division 1 it is.

Parents, as it looks per pre-season alignment so far we will be playing division 1 with UYSA not division 2.  In other words it is imperative that your son makes ALL practices in order to maintain a high level of play.  The competition in division 1 is intense and most of those players in that bracket have been playing together for a very long time.  We will be giving assignments to each player to work on at home to improve particular skill sets.  In order to have a successful season and remain or move up from this division, it's going to to take dedication from both the parents and the players. 

• Please make sure your kids are fed well and stay hydrated prior to practices and games. 
• Please makes sure they also bring their own ball to practice as well. 
• Please make sure they always have both uniforms and socks in their bags. 
• Practice dedication + commitment = Playtime in the field/better player.

We're in the big leagues lets treat our kids like the true athletes they are.  Thanks.

Great job at tryouts Rage! Great season Rage!

Great job this season Rage!  We were in it the whole time and played very well.  Next season we play 11 vs 11 so full field.   This will change our dynamics and create new opportunities for the players.  Coach Justin spoke to parents on Saturday and after careful consideration it makes the most sense to stay with Razzia for another year.  So we will keep you posted with more info soon.  Just giving you a heads up.  Great job Rage!

Hey Rage, pay attention to the schedule as some of the games have changed.  I have a calendar below that is updated or the link on the right of the web page will always be correct.  The latest change was the game that was scheduled for April 5th will now be happening on May 3rd.

Outdoor Schedule has been posted!

Hey Rage, so the spring season outdoor season officially begins for us on March 15th!  I have added the schedule on the link to the right and the calendar below.  Please review the link periodically as schedules are not set in stone.  We already have a conflict on March 22nd that we are working out.  Also look ahead and make travel arrangements for some of those days as you will be going to Provo, Cedar Hills, Saratoga Springs, etc., for games, and some of those on weekdays.

Double check your players equipment.  Our players are continuously growing from year to year, make sure their outdoor cleats are still comfortable and functional.

RSL Director of Youth Camps Rob Karas. Coach Karas has earned several national licenses and diplomas, and his achievements in coaching include the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) National "A" License, the NSCAA International Premier Diploma, the USSF National Goalkeeper License, the USSF National Youth LIcense and the NSCAA Director of Coaching Diploma. With over 10 years playing professional soccer, Coach Karas also spent a significant amount of time collectively with some of Europe's best soccer organizations such as Barcelona FC, AC Milan, Cheivo Verona, Atlanta, AJAX, PSV, and Haarlam and Hercules.

The Rage has signed up for another season of soccer at Soccer City.  Potential start is next week (schedules aren't posted yet).  Due to another generous donation from Caleb's dad, Chad, the cost will only be $15 per player.  Please bring or send the money with your son to this Saturday's game, which is at 8:45 AM.
